LECTURE
This week's lecture introduced us to what After Effects is.
Adobe After Effects is a 2.5D animation software for animation,
visual effects, and motion graphics compositing.
After Effects is used for film, television, and web video creation.
Adobe After Effects uses different methods to create motion.
Motion graphics animation creates and tells stories by manipulating vector
and rasterized art.
When you start working with After Effects, compositing layers in Photoshop,
all layers need to be arranged and renamed accordingly to be organized and
easy to animate in After Effects.
WEEK 10 PRACTICAL: AFTER EFFECTS EXERCISE
During the week, Mr. Fauzi introduced us to After Effects and had us complete
the provided PSD files to make a MOV video production.
I followed the video provided by Mr. Fauzi and first created a PSD file to
make the video. Then, I followed the video and first selected the circle to
make the keyframe animation. I selected the time nodes and rotated and
scaled the circle regularly at different time nodes.

When animating the second circle, in order to distinguish it from the previous
circle, I chose to add keyframes for the position change of the large circle,
plus keyframes for rotation and scaling to make it more dynamic.

Finally, I added keyframes to the goldfish element. In order to make the
goldfish feel like it is swimming, I added keyframes for transparency and
position.
