LECTURE
This lecture introduces us to double exposure and image blending modes.
Double-exposure photography involves merging multiple images. The aim is to
make them surreal, emotional, or humorous. They usually feature silhouettes.
In using PS we have many modes to edit photos.
- Use the tilt-shift effect Photoshop has a great tilt-shift tool that can turn your photos into soft art.

- Create Fake Reflections There are many ways to create reflections. One of them is to create a double exposure with the help of a separate window photo. This helps to add interesting textures to multiple-exposure photography.
- Try simple portraits and detailed textures Combining something simple with something complex will give you a balanced result.
Fig.1.3
- Convert the result to black and white The lack of color will enhance the emotion in the double-exposure image.
Fig.1.4
- Use silhouettes Many double-exposure photographers choose to use silhouettes. Try silhouettes of yourself, other people, or random objects. Anything else that catches your eye can create a unique composite image.
Fig.1.5
- Make Simple Objects Look Fascinating Photograph everyday objects that you usually take for granted. Try to make them look like something else. This technique will enhance your imagination.
- Use Shadows Any type of silhouette is perfect for double exposure photography. Shadows are just as effective as this type of silhouette.

WEEK 5: PRACTICAL (B)
Mr Fauzi provided the video for us to use ps to create this photo.

Then use the brush to draw the shadow of the character to make it more
three-dimensional, and then use Gaussian blur to blur the shadow into the
background.
After that, we created a shadow for the character, duplicated the layer to
change the transparency, then made a mask by path selection to leave the
useful part, and finally changed the color and blur into the background.
